Dr Robert Banks-Smith runs the Wattletree Road Dental Care practice. He studied at the University of Melbourne, first gaining a science degree majoring in microbiology and then a degree in dental science. He also has a graduate diploma in computer science from Latrobe University.

He provides the general dentistry that we all require to maintain our dental health and appearance and has extensive experience in the placement of crowns and bridges as well as cosmetic restorations such as veneers, composite fillings and whitening.

Today Dr Banks-Smith continues to strive for cutting edge dental applications and to push the boundaries of modern dentistry. He is a long-term affiliate of the Australian Dental Association. Dr Banks-Smith believes in preventative dentistry, always striving to restore and preserve teeth. He has a particular interest in endodontics, oral reconstruction and cosmetic dentistry, including veneers and whitening.

Dr Banks-Smith uses computer modeling to preplan implant-based tooth replacement.
